TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — “Big dinner. All the families coming and there’s always a couple things that I forget. So, here I am,” said local shopper Jeanine Utterback .

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, families are rushing to do their last minute shopping. Baesler’s Market was filled with customers Wednesday evening, buying the normal Thanksgiving meal items like turkey, ham, rolls, and potatoes.

We spoke with a few customers about what they were buying.

“Definitely turkeys and then we’ve seen lots of pumpkin pies,” said Baesler’s Market Communications Manager Kristine O’ Hare.

“Oh like you know, pecans for the top of the sweet potato casserole. You gotta have that,” Utterback said. “The list goes on and on, but I love it. It’s so fun.”

Just a friendly reminder, Baesler’s Market will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
