TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A local sandwich shop located in downtown Terre Haute is back open under new management and had its grand opening on Monday.

Roly Poly Sandwiches is now open and under the management of the husband and wife team, William and Missy Pomeroy. Located at 4th and Wabash, the shop serves soups, sandwiches, and wraps. The Pomeroy’s said opening a restaurant like this is something they’ve been wanting to do.

Missy worked for years at Anabranch Recovery and is employing recovering addicts and those who might not be given a second chance. William says, that people can look forward to enjoying old favorites on the menu, and are happy to be able to serve the Terre Haute community.

“We know we got some work to do, and we really hope that we help the people we can support and we put out a good product, and we make everybody happy along the way,” Pomeroy said.

Roly Poly’s hours will be Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. as well as Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The owners say those hours could expand, depending on how things go down the road.
