TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Terre Haute Women`s Club held their first large fundraiser since 2019 in the newly remodeled Hulman Center

The organization hosted Booze for Shoes: A Tasting Trip Around the World, it gave visitors a new experience to try food and drinks from different countries

Guests picked up a passport upon arrival at the ISU Hulman Center. From there, they went to different countries (Sweden, India, Italy, & Japan) around the concourse, tasting small bites + drink pairings from Federal Coffee + Fine Foods, Taj Mahal, Pilonis, & Sushi Umi while getting their passport stamped at each destination.

The Terre Haute Women`s Club provides a new pair of athletic shoes and two pairs of socks to for up to 1200 children per year in the Vigo County School System.

They provide shoes for children in Kindergarten up to 12th Grade. Each ticket sold to the event will pay for 2 pairs of shoes.
