WABASH VALLEY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Local students studying agriculture are invited to apply for the McDonald’s Agriculture Awards scholarships.
Open now through March 22, residents of the Wabash Valley can nominate a student who is studying agriculture to be considered for the scholarship. The scholarship is designed to award 20 agricultural students with $500 to further support their studies.

To be eligible for the scholarship, the nominee must be enrolled in a college agricultural program and be a resident of or attending a college in an eligible county in Indiana. Other states such as Illinois, Kentucky, and Missouri also participate in the Agricultural Scholarship Awards.
The winners will be selected in the spring by the local McDonald’s organizations in the area.
Several of the local McDonald’s owners and operators in the Wabash Valley have come together for a second year to offer the scholarship to students in the community.
The scholarship nominations can be submitted online through the McDonald’s second-annual Agriculture Scholarship Awards nomination form.
