TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Tons of games, live music, and great food and drinks fueled a local diaper bank’s annual festival.
Covered With Love diaper bank partnered with Musicians Giving Back to hold their 3rd annual HuggieLuvFest on Saturday at Watertower Estates Winery
This diaper bank’s mission is to raise $45,000 to fill up a trailer to provide a year’s supply of materials for the Wabash Valley. The proceeds for events like these are a massive help to that goal.
Musicians Giving Back had many live artists showcased and were also a key part of this event.
Bob Flott is the communications director for the group, and he explains why this is so important to him.
“I feel like it is my job to pay it forward to everyone else. It’s what can I do to help everyone else out. This is what I can do,” he said.
He also mentioned how impactful this diaper bank has been to the Wabash Valley and encourages everyone to help out the ones in need.
“To date, they have distributed over three quarters of a million diapers to children of the Wabash Valley. This is a great way for the people of the Wabash Valley to show that they care about the people who need help,” Flott added.
