TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Cars filled the parking lot of Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church Saturday as they celebrated their collaboration with Vigo County CASA.

Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church and CASA hosted their 4th annual car show on Saturday. The proceeds of this event will be split 50/50 between the organizations.

This event included many cars from old to new, a silent auction, a raffle, and food vendors. There were also prizes given out to the best voted cars.

Nick Agresta was a volunteer at this car show, and he expresses his love for the cars at this event.

“It is so nice to see as the world changes and the cars get old, that you can come out here and see variety. You can see old cars through the years and see the progression. These people that have these cars are artists in their own rights.”

He also added that CASA approached him and the church to start something like this to help benefit both the church and CASA.

“When CASA approached myself and the missions about this idea, I couldn’t have been more excited to do something that I love, and I know many others love, around the community that also helps a great cause like CASA,” Agresta added.

A reminder that CASA is still holding their can drive to support all their annual programs.
