WASHINGTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — With school just around the corner, it’s time to get the kids ready.
Washington Assembly of God Church hosted its back-to-school bash for the community. Back-to-school bashes offer families the opportunity to get important items needed for children to return to school.
Those who attended the event, got to enjoy family friendly activities, school supply giveaways, a bounce house, and food.
Pastor Michael Anderson said he enjoys helping the community.
“If you feel desire or longing to be involved in the community, find a place whether it be your local food pantry or your local congregation. Get involved especially if they’re doing their best to reach the community,” Anderson said.
