Local car dealership teams up with United Way

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Terre Haute Chevrolet has teamed up with the United Way of Wabash Valley to help increase the organization’s donations.

The car dealership will provide one lucky donor with a $10,000 prize. The United Way is working to help 10,000 families move from financial struggles into financial stability.

United Way Director of Resource Development Danielle Isbell said it is important to give back to the community.

“We work out of our impact councils, and we have impact councils working in those barriers that prevent people from moving out of poverty but then we also partner a lot of our non-profits in the community are on those councils and help us put the programs and incentives that really do the majority of the work,” she said.

For more information on how to donate, visit the United Way’s website.
