TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Four local bands used their musical talents over the weekend to help bring back a former concert hall in Terre Haute, Ind.
The city’s “Fall Crawl” took place Sunday at a building previously known as “the Venue.” The building is currently being remodeled using the funds raised from the bands’ shows.
Once completed, event organizers said the facility will serve as a safe way for everyone to enjoy music.
“We are in the midst of opening up an all-ages music venue where some of the high school bands and some of the younger bands in town can come in a safe environment, drug-free environment to play for their fans in Terre Haute,” Booking Agent Michael Guess said.
Guess says fans of these shows should be on the look out for more upcoming events. Details on the venue’s schedule and upcoming acts can be found on Facebook by searching “The Venue,” Guess said.
