TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Future and current college students can get some help with enrollment, and may even win some money to put toward their education.
Ivy Tech is hosting an event called Tuesdays at the Tech in which every Tuesday potential students or current students can receive assistance with the steps of the enrollment process.
Those steps include things like college applications, financial aid, and meeting with an advisor about scheduling classes. Also, each month any student who fills out the FAFSA during the Tuesdays at the Tech event can be entered into a drawing.
Those who enter into the drawing have a chance to win a one-time $500 scholarship.
“We want to encourage students to come in and fill out the FAFSA. It’s super important so that students have the potential to go to school for free. Because our cost of tuition is low, 4 out of 5 students graduate with no debt,” said Amanda Cox, Director of Admission, Recruitment and K14.
For more information or to register for the program, students can fill out the Tuesdays for Tech registration form online, or call the admission office 812-298-2280.
