TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Locals will have the chance to celebrate their pride at the second annual Terre Haute Pride Festival.
Partnering with the Pride Center of Terre Haute, Indiana State University will host the event from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at ISU’s quad on Saturday, September 16.
Attendees can expect over 75 vendors along with many food trucks as well as a lineup of 20 local and out-of-city performances. The Pride Center is also happy to announce that various local LGBTQIA+ businesses and community organizations will also be in attendance. All the activities will be family-friendly.
In addition, ISU will also host a college visiting day for students to offer a more detailed overview of ISU’s LGBTQIA+ community, gender inclusivity, and campus resources. Those who attend will get a tour of the campus accompanied by a current student and are welcome to attend the pride festival after the tour.
