TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A new wine created by a local winery will help support the futures of local college students.
Indiana State University partnered with WaterTower Estates Winery to create a new ISU-themed wine.
State Sauvignon Blanc is a limited release. 20% of the proceeds support ISU’s Bridge the Gap scholarships which help students fill the need between their own financial resources and the full cost of attendance.
“Now more than ever, particularly with this global pandemic, and things that are taking place around the globe, helping others is important and this is a super way to do it,” says Rex Kendall, Executive Director of the Alumni Association at ISU.
The owners of WaterTower Estates Winery are graduates of ISU.
People can purchase the wine at the winery at 530 W. Springhill Drive in Terre Haute. It’s also available on the winery’s website.
