TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Winter break is over and students are back at Indiana State University.

Tuesday was the first day of classes for ISU students this semester, and new COVID-19 guidelines are in effect.

Unvaccinated students, faculty and staff will have to participate in weekly COVID-19 tests unless they show proof of vaccination. None the less, some students said they are excited to get the spring going.

“Super excited man,” student Rylan Coles said. “Just ready to get back in classes, get back to learning and get back with all my friends and stuff. I’m really looking forward to new classes and meeting new people.”

COVID-19 tests will be provided on ISU’s campus.
