ISU students, employees to begin receiving COVID-19 vaccine Wednesday

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Indiana State University on-campus COVID-19 vaccinations will be available by appointment beginning Wednesday at the ISU Student Health Center, 567 North 5th St. Vaccinations will be available to ISU students and employees only. Employees are not able to make appointments until 48 hours after that option opened for students.

Students and employees received an email containing a unique link to schedule an appointment. First-dose appointments are available from 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. on April 7, April 13, April 14 and April 20 and from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on April 8-9, April 12, April 15-16 and April 19. About 120 doses of the Pfizer vaccine will be available per day.

After delivering first doses, the Student Health Center staff will schedule students and employees’ second dose. Second doses will be available on campus, but students and employees can get their second dose at another location if desired. The second dose should be administered no sooner than 21 days after the first dose and no later than 45 days.
