ISU softball players walk elementary students to school

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — Indiana State Softball Players will be walking to school with the Fuqua Elementary students next week as part of the Safe Routes to School project.

Just as the local celebrities did the previous weeks of the initiative, the ISU athletes will be meeting students at the orange-painted star at the beginning of each route and following the falcon claws to Fuqua Elementary for timely arrival at 8 a.m.

The Safe Routes to School program has been made possible by a grant riverSCAPE was awarded by the Indiana State Department of Health.
