TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Indiana State University held a rededication ceremony for Dreiser Hall on Thursday.
The building underwent a massive $18 million renovation that was state funded.
Dreiser Hall is the home of ISU Student Media and the Department of Theater.
Dr. Deborah J. Curtis was one of numerous speakers who spoke highly about the new and enhanced facility.
Department of Theater Chair Chris Berchild said that the new space is already making a positive impact on students.
“We have all new technology and all new space,” Berchild said. “It’s still in the footprint of the old theater, but it’s taken leaps and bounds ahead of where we were before.”
