GREENE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A hunter reported finding clothing and remains in a rural field in Greene County on Monday.
According to a press release from the Indiana State Police, crime scene investigators, and other law enforcement agencies responded to the scene on the morning of May 1 and are conducting a death investigation.
The investigation is ongoing. ISP encourages anyone with information relevant to the situation to contact the Greene County Sheriff’s Department.
Update: The Greene County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that this incident is unrelated to the recent reports of missing persons Michelle or Rodger Sears.
