DAVIESS COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — In addition to its current location, RTC Communications has announced that a new location will be coming to downtown Washington.

“This location will help us serve a very large part of Daviess county,” said Adria Brelage, Director of Marketing for RTC Communications. “Washington is one of our bigger areas and we see the growth and the opportunities and we are excited to be a part of that growth.”

Helping the fiber internet footprint grow in multiple counties in the Wabash Valley, including Knox, Martin, Lawrence, and Daviess, RTC Communications is looking to connect with the communities and provide accessible services and programs for the residents in the area.

While RTC Communications is based in Montgomery, the new location will be along Main Street in the downtown Washington area and is expected to be up and running in early 2024.

“We’re excited to be in the heart of the area and look forward to being a part of the growth and revitalization of Downtown Washington. We’ve known that with the growth we’ve had over the last few years, adding to our footprint would become inevitable. We’re excited about the potential and possibilities of having a second location for the company and the community we look forward to sharing our vision as we continue to work on the remodel of the main street building,” said Kirk Lehman RTC Communications CEO.

Having been the first in the Washinton area to provide fiber internet in 2018, RTC Communications is working to continue its progress and growth by making itself available to the community through programs and location.

“You know, some future things we are talking about that could benefit smart homes and things like that in the future. But our goal is to open it up for people who want to learn to stream tv, we’re looking to open it up to opening it to kids in the community by hosting Egaming events, to just connect as many people as we can to our broadband services. We’re looking to be more connected with the community by putting ourselves in the center and making ourselves more readily accessible.” Brelage explained.

RTC Communications also has a Stream Team dedicated to helping those in the community that may struggle with technology and need help with streaming. The stream team will be traveling to a few locations around the Wabash Valley to help people learn how to stream:
