VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Indiana Department of Transportation announced Wednesday that U.S. 41 will have intermittent, 15-minute closures starting around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 24.
The contractor hired by INDOT will be using a crane to pour two piers for anew State Road 63 northbound bridge that will go over U.S. 41. The construction project was awarded to White Construction Inc. for $3.2 million.
The roadway is scheduled to reopen at the end of September 2021, according to an INDOT news release. For updates on the construction, visit INDOT’s Facebook page.
