RILEY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A portion of State Road 46 near Riley will be temporarily closed according to INDOT.
Starting on or after Tuesday, November 14, drivers can expect the route to be closed as INDOT crews work to replace culverts in the area. The route will be closed from Donham Drive to County Road 650 W. from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily throughout the month of November.
The official detour to bypass the closure will be from I-70 to U.S. 40 to S.R. 59 and will last around 20 miles in length.
INDOT encourages drivers in the area to pay attention and obey work zone speed limits.
