TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WAWV/WTWO) – Crowd filled the stands at Indiana State’s Hulman Center to celebrate the university’s spring graduates.

Today marked the 151st Commencement Ceremony at the university.

Graduates heard from alumni and student speakers and were awarded their degrees by the commencement committee.

ISU held three ceremonies to accommodate the 1,882 degrees the university handed out.

ISU’s Ashley Matherly said she couldn’t be more excited to have earned her degree in elementary education.

“It felt like it went really quick,” Matherly said. ” High school seemed to drag on but college went fast, but I’m ready for it.”

Graduates from 41 U.S. States and nine countries walked in the 2022 spring ceremony.
