TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Indiana State students and alumni celebrated homecoming festivities from sunrise to sundown on Saturday.

There were so many things going on in Terre Haute for people of all ages to enjoy. One of the biggest draws was at the ISU Alumni Association tent set up outside memorial stadium. It’s where many former Sycamores gathered throughout the day.

Clint Weddle is the executive director for the ISU Alumni Association, and he says seeing the crowds every year at homecoming is a great feeling.

“It’s all about the people and all about the Sycamores. We have got a lot of great folks here today. We have tremendous staff that do an outstanding job of planning for months to put an event like this together. We have a beautiful day like today. You got the Sycamore band here, the spirit squad out, it makes for a wonderful, wonderful program,” said Weddle.

Weddle also wanted to add that it is never too late for alumni to sign up.

“Events like these are also a great opportunity for the alumni that have not yet signed up to be a part of the alumni association. This association is nothing but a good thing for ISU graduates. I can’t stress enough how important it is to be able to network with people who had a similar path to yours,” added Weddle.
