GREENE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Indiana State Sheriff’s Association is accepting applications for criminal justice scholarships.

According to Greene County Sheriff George Dellaire, approximately 40 $750 scholarships will be awarded to qualifying students around the state of Indiana.

To qualify, applying students must be an Indiana resident, a current member of the association, or a dependent child or grandchild of a member of the association, attend an Indiana college or university, and major in a law enforcement field while enrolled as a full-time student.

Applications can be found at your local sheriff’s office or high school counselor’s office. Applications must be completed and received by the Indiana Sheriff’s Association by April 1, 2023.
