GIBSON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A Vincennes man was arrested for impersonating a public servant and other charges after an Indiana State Police Trooper clocked him driving 93 mph in a 60 mph zone in Gibson County.

Justin McGiffen, 31, was stopped by the trooper at US 41 at CR 100 N. After failing a field sobriety test, McGiffen pulled out his wallet and showed the trooper a gold badge.

McGiffen faces a felony charge for impersonating a public servant and misdemeanor charges for driving under the influence and reckless driving. He is being held at the Gibson County Jail pending the posting of bond.
