SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Farmersburg man is facing felony charges after reportedly being clocked going more than 100 MPH on US 41 in Sullivan County.

According to a post from the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Facebook page, the arrest was made on Jan. 29 around 10:00 a.m. near the intersection of US 41 and County Road 500 N. after a driver was pulled over for speeding, and drugs were later found in the vehicle. 

The driver, Joshua C. Julian, 34, of Farmersburg, IN was pulled over by a Sullivan County Sheriff’s lieutenant after traveling at speeds of 102 miles per hour. After the initial traffic stop, officers decided to search Julian’s vehicle which resulted in confiscating around 60 grams of marijuana, other narcotic controlled substances, and a Glock handgun.

Julian was arrested for the following: 

  • Possession of schedule II controlled substance / narcotic, with a firearm (level 4 felony)
  • Possession of marijuana over 30 grams (level 6 felony)
  • Reckless driving, (level C-misdemeanor)
