ROBINSON, IL (WTWO/WAWV) — An arrest was made on Wednesday afternoon after the Robinson Police Department, with the help of the Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System Special Response Team (ILEAS SRT), conducted an arrest and a search warrant.

According to Robinson Police Department Chief, Chad Weaver, law enforcement was called in around 9:30 a.m. to the 300 block of Clearwater Street for an arrest warrant for aggravated assault and a search warrant for the property.

“We had an arrest warrant for the owner of the property and a search warrant also for the property. We have a threat matrix that we do anytime we’re going to do a search warrant and if it is a high risk or a high enough risk, we call in for additional resources such as the ILEAS SRT,” Weaver said.

Weaver noted the ILEAS SRT spent several hours attempting to get the property owner, Chance E. Neidigh, to come out and that there were no injuries. Neidigh was taken into custody.

The investigation is ongoing, more details and charges may be pending depending on the findings of the investigation.
