VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Update: Indiana State Police Putnamville Post’s Public Information Officer Sgt. Matt Ames has confirmed traffic on westbound Interstate 74 in Vermillion County is flowing.
According to Sgt. Ames, the crash ended up as a property damage incident with both the Semi-tractor trailer and car able to be driven away from the scene. Traffic was never closed down as originally reported as when troopers arrived both vehicles were in the emergency lane.
The crash involving a semi-tractor trailer took place on I-74 at the 2.5 mile marker near the Illinois/Indiana state line.
