I-70 eastbound at 19-mile marker closes 1 lane as wrecker removes semi

Local News

CLAY COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — I-70 at the 19-mile marker will be reduced to one lane effective immediately until 10 or 11 p.m. Tuesday as wreckers work to remove a semi from the roadway. Indiana State Police reported that the Indiana Department of Transportation is assisting, and that troopers are monitoring the traffic.

They will be removing a semi that jackknifed off the road during last week’s winter storm. The other was removed Monday night.
