CLARK COUNTY, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Human Resources Center of Edgar and Clark Counties is expanding the hours of their mental health support program. 

According to a release from Jonathan Burns, HRC’s Executive Director, the Living Room program will be expanding its hours to 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and will go into effect on January 1, 2024. The Living Room is a “drop-in style mental health service” located at 406 N. 2nd Street in Marshall.

The program is free and provides mental health professionals to assist those in the community who are struggling with mental health challenges like stress. 

The Marshall Forsythe Center facility will currently be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday for those interested in the services provided.
