FARMERGSBURG, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Everyone age 16 and older is now eligible to schedule a COVID-19 vaccination appointment in Indiana.

Register online by clicking here or by calling 211. Individuals may encounter wait times due to a high volume of interest. The registration system was designed to put visitors into a holding queue when volume is high. The Indiana Department of Health encourages eligible Hoosiers to be patient or to check back later in the day.

Who is eligible?

Everyone age 16 and older is eligible for the Pfizer vaccine. Johnson & Johnson and Moderna vaccinations are only offered to those ages 18 and older.

The Vaccine is free for individuals

Vaccine providers can bill a patient’s insurance for a fee to administer the vaccine, but will not be able to charge the patient. Providers can seek reimbursement for uninsured patients from the Health Resources and Services Administration’s Provider Relief Fund.
