TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Area residents can beautify their homes with plants while supporting local students’ futures on Saturday, when the Honey Creek Garden Club holds its annual plant sale.
Club president Nancy Bauer said in addition to a wide variety of plants, they will also offer crafts for sale. Proceeds will support two scholarships the club awards each year to students studying areas like agriculture and horticulture.
“Anderson’s Plants and Produce will be here to offer a variety of bedding plants, perennials, vegetables — practically anything you would want — and the members of the Garden Club will be dividing plants from their home that we will bring to sell, as well, so you can get those at a very reduced price,” Bauer said.
The plant sale will be Saturday from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Central TV Warehouse, 2001 S. 13th St.
