Helicopters to trim trees along busy roads in West Central Indiana

PLAINFIELD, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)- Duke Energy announced its plans to clear vegetation and overgrowth using a helicopter tree-trimming crew.

That will be happening from in the areas:

  • West Terre Haute to Rosedale along U.S. 41 and Lambert Avenue
  • Brazil to Greencastle along U.S. 40
  • Bedford to Mitchell along SR 37

Duke Energy manager, Rick Burger said the work is expected to begin on or around Tuesday, September 7. The project is expected to take around ten days to complete.
