OBLONG, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) — After the town of Oblong recently put up Halloween decorations to celebrate the season, there have been a couple of instances of vandalism.
The Oblong Chamber of Commerce made a post to alert the community that more decorations had “gone missing” while others had been damaged again.
The chamber is asking for those who may have information to contact them via Facebook, and for local parents to discuss town pride with their children.
The Halloween decor is Ghostbusters themed and many buildings around the city are participating. “Please help us keep our town FUN!” the post reads.
