TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Griffin Bike Park took to the race track Sunday for the second annual Dual Slalom race.
The downhill trail is divided in half, side-by-side, and bikers’ raced to the finish line.
At the top of the trail, a board is placed in front of the bikers’ wheel. Once the track is clear, the board drops, and bikers’ are on their way downhill.
“There’s really nothing like this within the surrounding areas, with dirt jumps, duel slalom, kids mountain biking and stuff in general,” owner of J’s Bikes and Griffin Park Sponsor, Jerry Harnack said.
The track consisted of: jumps, gaps, and a 180 turn.
