Greene County authorities say missing woman found safe

UPDATE: The Greene County Sheriff’s Department reported the missing woman has been found and is safe.

GREENE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Greene County authorities have issued a silver alert for a missing woman they believe needs medical attention.

According to the sheriff’s department, a woman later identified as Stacey Anna-Fay Doyle, 29, was spotted banging on a door at a residence early Wednesday morning in the area of State Road 57 and County Road 200 N asking for help.

Doyle drove a 2005 blue Honda Element with the license plate 556TMH to the area. She is believed to now be traveling on foot, most likely back to the Bloomington area.

She is described as being 5 feet, 4 inches tall, 150 pounds with brown hair. Contact the Greene County Sheriff’s Department at 812-384-4411, option 1, with any information in the case.
