TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb announced a reappointment of members of Indiana State University’s Board of Trustees on Thursday. 

Two members, Kathleen Cabello of Indianapolis, Ind., and Robert (Bob) Casey of Westfield, Ind., will serve another four-year term on the board. 

In addition, Holcomb also appointed Cheryl Roberson to a four-year term and Kate VanHyfte as the new Student Trustee to a two-year term. 

“I’m thrilled by this announcement. Kathy and Bob have been fundamental to the success of Indiana State University during their time on the board, and I know they’ll continue to help advance our great University. ISU proudly welcomes Cheryl and Kate to the Board of Trustees. Their creativity and professional backgrounds are what ISU needs as we continue to serve our students and community to the best of our ability. The Board fills an important role at our University; only the best are called upon to serve on it,” said Dr. Deborah Curtis, the President of Indiana State University.

Several of the current board of trustees are involved in the community. 

Cabello is the President of Cabello Associates, Inc., and Casey heads the department of global security with Eli Lilly and Company.  Roberson is from Mooresville, Ind., and works as a Director for the Rolls-Royce Corporation, she is an alum of Indiana State University, and VanHyfte is a sophomore psychology and biology double major from Zionsville, Ind.
