LINTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A local assisted living facility celebrated 77 years in business Friday.
Glenburn Home, Inc. CEO Amy Gum said in addition to the celebration, the company would be debuting a new logo.
During the celebration, staff and community members celebrated the dedication of one of their board members, Dr. William Murphy, who has been with Glenburn Home since the beginning in 1946.
Gum said that the home is excited for the future as they continue to serve the Greene County community.
“It’s a vital importance for Glenburn to continue to be here and thrive in our community,” Gum said. “We want to continue to build on the faith-based mission that we’ve had here for 77 years and continue to provide that quality of care to the Greene County community.”
Gum added that three-quarters of a century in operation doesn’t go without a lot of hard work and a lot of great leaders.
