TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — After a short break due to damages from a fire, the bi-monthly free breakfasts at St Benedict’s Soup Kitchen are starting up again.

According to Sandy Cline with the Secular Franciscans and Friends of Terre Haute, the next bi-monthly meal will be served from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 28.

“After a fire in St. Benedict’s Parish Center, repairs have been made and the kitchen is open. So, the Secular Franciscans and Friends are “back in business,” ready to cook up hearty breakfasts this Saturday, October 28, for hungry people here in Terre Haute,” Cline said.

All are welcome to enjoy the free meal of biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs. The breakfast is served at the St. Benedict’s dining room at 9th and Walnut Streets.
