WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Firefighters were called to a residence in western Vigo County Wednesday for reports of a house fire.
According to Sugar Creek Assistant Fire Chief Jared Dougherty the call came in at approximately 11:42 a.m. of a home on Ogle Place being on fire.
Dougherty said no one was home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported. However, three residents have been displaced as a result.
Dougherty said it took them about 20 minutes to put out the fire. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Crews from Honey Creek and New Goshen fire departments assisted Sugar Creek with the incident.
