TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – One Terre Haute business opened its doors Sunday to help provide for a family in need.
Ferm Fresh was open on Sunday and allowed locals to come in and enjoy a healthy treat while supporting the DeMoulin family, who recently had a member diagnosed with cancer. The DeMoulins are close friends of the owners of Ferm Fresh.
This company saw this as an opportunity where they could step in and help them, as all of the proceeds brought in from 12-4 p.m. will go directly to the family in need. This includes both tips and product sales.
Anthony Gossett is the co-owner of Ferm Fresh and he was blown away by the support from this community.
“It’s a community coming into support other community members. We are just over the moon about it. It’s wonderful.”
Gossett also added that them being open today was strictly for the point of helping people they care about.
“It’s truly overwhelming. To think that people are willing to come out and try this for the first time because they know it is helping a good cause. This is not about us. It is simply to help this family, our friends, who are in need.”
