PARIS, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV/WCIA) — Federal and State authorities have been spotted outside of a residence in the 700 block of Tenbroeck Street in Paris, Illinois.

Illinois State Police have confirmed to WTWO that an investigation is underway, but wouldn’t say more regarding the ongoing situation.

“FBI Springfield confirms they are there for court-authorized activity,” said Rebecca Cramblit, Public Affairs Officer with the FBI to Nexstar’s WCIA.

The Edgar County Treasures Office confirmed the address of the home being raided belongs to Jeremy and Jaime Larson. Jeremy is the Paris School District Superintendent.

An FBI spokesperson told Nexstar’s WCIA that there is no reason for parents to be concerned about their child’s safety in this case.
