CENTER POINT, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Residents were able to do a relaxing activity Sunday while surrounded by tigers and lions.
The Exotic Feline Rescue Center hosted their second day of big cat yoga. This was an intimate event that gave residents a very unique experience that sold out both days.
This event was possible due their collaboration with Illumination Wellness.
The Rescue Center wanted to do their own spin on goat yoga because of the love that members of the staff have for it. After reaching out to local instructors, one was willing to host this event and was very intrigued by the idea. This event was possible due their collaboration with Illumination Wellness.
Tiffani Shearer is the fundraising coordinator for The Exotic Feline Rescue Center, and she is happy to people able to share her joy and love for the animals with the community.
“I could talk about these cats for hours. Getting to share that joy and love of the animals with people is really what makes it all worth it.”
The Exotic Feline Rescue Center will also be holding their annual Fall Fest in October.
