Dump truck crash injures Dana woman

ROCKVILLE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Dana woman was injured in a crash Tuesday when she lost control of the dump truck she was driving.

According to the Parke County Sheriff’s Department, Amanda Delp, 43, was heading west on U.S. 36 when she attempted to slow for a turning vehicle in front of her and lost control of the dump truck she was driving.

The dump truck rolled over onto the driver’s side, coming to rest on the north side of the road.

Delp was transported to a nearby hospital for injuries sustained.

Rockville Rescue, Bellmore Fire Department, Parke County EMS and Indiana State Police assisted at the scene.
