PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Roseville Covered Bridge in Coxville has been damaged and County Road 325 W. will be closed until further notice.
According to the Parke County Sheriff’s Office, a tree had fallen into the covered bridge causing damage and also taking down powerlines in the area.
People are asked to avoid the area while emergency crews are working.
Parke County Deputies, Lyford Fire Department, Parke County Highway, and Parke County REMC responded to the scene.
