Culinary Queens raises funds for FSA counseling center

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Terre Haute FSA Counseling Center has found a way to mix both Halloween fun and helping the community.

The FSA counseling center will host their Culinary Queens Halloween party on Oct. 15th. at the Moonlite Drive-in theater.

“Old National Bank is our sponsor for “Culinary Queens” and this year they are sponsoring a free movie which is ‘Casper’ at the Moonlite Drive-in,” stated FSA counseling center executive director, Jaymie Wood. “Everything goes towards the FSA counseling center to benefit our counseling services.”

FSA counseling is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families in the community. FSA provides direct and affordable mental health services to over 1,200 people.

“We’re going to have a costume contest for men, women and a group contest. We also have cars — best dressed car, best dressed jeep and dressed motorcycle as well,” stated Wood.

Event guest must be 21 or older to attend. Guests will be able to enjoy music, food and socially distanced company. Bring your appetite because culinary queens from the area will be preparing entrees, salads, and desserts.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with the program and dinner to follow at 7 p.m. General admission for the event is free with VIP tickets being available for $50. Tickets are available at
