SHELBURN, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Several fire departments were on the scene of a residential structure fire Thursday morning in Sullivan County.
The fire was at a home on Maple Street in Shelburn and crews were dispatched around 8:45 a.m. No one was injured in the fire, Fire Chief Alex Norris said, but two people were taken to the hospital to be checked for injuries.
The home is being considered a total loss. Sullivan County dispatchers said three fire departments were on the scene, Shelburn, Sullivan City and Thunderbird Fire Protection Territory firefighters.
It’s unclear at this time what started the fire.
