TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Nobody was injured after the driver of a passenger vehicle fell asleep and rear-ended the back of a semi-truck.

It happened in the eastbound lanes near mile marker 5.

Sgt. Matt Ames with Indiana State Police said the driver of the semi-truck did not realize an accident had happened and kept going.

Vigo Co. Central Dispatch said the crash happened just before 5:00 pm.
