TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Back-to-back crashes were reported Friday morning on Interstate 70 westbound in Terre Haute. No serious injuries were reported.
The first crash occurred around 11 a.m. when a woman overcorrected, causing her vehicle to flip four times, according to Indiana State Police PIO Sgt. Matt Ames. Ames said the woman was able to walk away from the scene, but was later transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation.
A second crash resulted when a driver failed to notice the slowed traffic from the first incident and rear-ended another vehicle sending the vehicle into the ditch. No one was injured in the second collision.
Both scenes were cleared in less than an hour.
