TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A crash left a pickup truck sitting on its roof in Terre Haute Tuesday.

The single-vehicle crash occurred around 11 a.m. near the intersection of S. 13th Street and Margaret Avenue.

According to Terre Haute Police Sgt. Justin Sears, the driver suffered a medical episode that caused him to drive onto a nearby guy wire which caused the vehicle to roll onto it’s top.

Sears said the Terre Haute Fire Department provided medical treatment for the driver before they were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Sears said the injuries are believed to not be life-threatening.

A wrecker was able to flip the car back onto it’s wheels as crews worked to clean up the scene. Sears said no other vehicles or property were damaged as a result of the incident.
