TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A passenger was taken to the hospital following a two vehicle crash in Terre Haute in which both drivers were listed as failing to yield by investigating police.
According to police, the crash occurred at the intersection of S.R. 46 and Wabash Avenue at 4:02 p.m. on Tuesday. A Gray Dodge truck had been travelling east on Wabash Avenue and struck a Red Chevrolet truck that was attempting to turn south.

Responding officers spoke with both drivers who each gave statements saying they believed they had the right of way. The investigating officer listed in his crash report that both drivers had failed to yield the right of way.
A 79-year-old passenger was taken to an area hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.
